aul Riesco Granadino is a Senior Telecommunications Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and a Ph.D. Telecommunications Engineer from the same University.

He has more than 20 years of experience in the ICT sector and in particular in the field of computer security. He is currently Deputy Director of the National Cybersecurity Institute of Spain (INCIBE), former Manager of Intelligence and Industrial Control Systems. Since 2013 he actively contributes as an expert adviser to the European Commission.
