Jorge Bermudez
Degree in Law from the University of Deusto.
He joined the prosecutor career in 2006, assigned to the Provincial Prosecutor's Office of Guipúzcoa, in San Sebastián, being seconded to the Computer Crime Service of the Attorney General's Office since its creation in 2007. As a specialist in cybercrime, he was appointed national speaker in the Spanish chapter of the ECCE (European Certificate in Cybercrime and e-Evidence) promoted by the Council of Europe and the General Council of the Judiciary. He has also collaborated with the University Institute of Police Science Research at the University of Alcalá de Henares, as well as with the Spanish Agency for Development Cooperation at its training center in Santa Cruz de la Sierra (Bolivia), the Academy of European Law, or the Institute of Training and Judicial Studies of Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates).
He has lectured on computer crime aimed at assistants both in the technical profile (3rd and 4th edition of ENISE, VIII International Conference of the ISMS Forum, Rooted CON 2014 and 2015) and legal (Conference of the Basque Council of Lawyers on reform of the Penal Code, And the Center for Legal Studies of the Ministry of Justice, on the same subject). He has also participated in the formation of police units specialized in the subject, such as the EDITE's of the Civil Guard, one of the reasons why he was awarded the Police Merit Cross with a white badge in 2013, or The Basque Academy of Police and Emergencies of Arkaute (Ertzaintza).
