El Instituto Nacional de Ciberseguridad de España (INCIBE), junto al Instituto Nacional de Tecnologías Educativas y de Formación del Profesorado (INTEF) hemos desarrollado conjuntamente este taller para trabajar con el alumnado la toma de decisiones inteligentes frente al ciberacoso, los contenidos perjudiciales o los retos virales.

What is Safer Internet Day?
On February 11th 2025, Safer Internet Day (SID) #SID2025 is celebrated globally. It is an international event organized by the Insafe/INHOPE networks of Internet Safety Centres in Europe, with the support of the European Commission.
This initiative is carried out every year, on the second Tuesday during the month of February, with the aim of creating not only a safer Internet, but also a better Internet, through the responsible, respectful, critical, and creative use that we all contribute to. Doing this promotes the safe and positive use of technology, especially among children and adolescents.
It is a day in which millions of people around the world come together to inspire positive changes online, raise awareness about security issues, and participate in events and activities. It is only if we push together, that we will be able to achieve it.
Like every year, here at the National Cyber Security Institute (INCIBE), we join the international initiative and celebrate #SaferInternetDay. We celebrate with activities to formulate, among children, adolescents, and their surrounding environment, a safe and positive use of digital technologies, promoting their skills in this matter and helping them to be respectful, creative, and critical, in line with European digital principals.
Additionally, the contest “What does 017 mean to you?” brings the service ‘Your Help in Cybersecurity’ closer to the educational community, through the creation of videos that demonstrate risks situation on the Internet and how 017 can help to avoid or solve these situations.
SID is aimed at all audiences: children and adolescents; parents and guardians, teachers, tutors and social workers; as well as companies, organizations and political leaders, encouraging them to actively participate.
