Data leaking in ADT

ADT, one of the most important security companies in the United States, has suffered a cyber-attack in which an attacker has managed to access and steal customer data.

The attacker, known for other incidents, has published in a forum, having stolen the records of 30 800 users, among which are identifiers, emails, addresses and products purchased.

ADT reacted by blocking the connection and initiating an investigation and assures that there has been no unauthorized access to its customers' security systems. ADT is working with government institutions and cybersecurity companies to resolve the incident.
