The Navy Lieutenant Engineer Mario Guerra Soto is native of Santander, where he studied Telecommunications Engineering at the University of Cantabria. He joined the Army Corps of Engineers in September 2004. Since September 2013, he has been assigned to the Joint Cyber Defense Command, performing his duties in the Digital Research Group of the Chief of Operations. He holds a Master's Degree in Information and Communication Technology Security from the Open University of Catalonia and a Master's Degree in Search of Digital Evidence and Fight against Cybercrime by the Autonomous University of Madrid. He has completed the investigative proficiency of the doctoral program by the Higher Technical School of Naval Weapons Engineering. He is Diploma in Intelligence and Security from the Army School of War. He is certified by the EC-Council as Certified Ethical Hacker v9, Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator v8 and Computer Network Defender v1; by Cellebrite as Certified Physical Analyst; and by EXIN as ITIL Foundation 2011. He completed the Cryptological Specialties Course of the National Cryptological Center and several courses of the NATO School of Oberammergau related to cybersecurity. He has collaborated as a speaker with different Spanish universities.

Jesús Díaz Vico is currently a software architect at BEEVA, specialized in cryptography and blockchain technology. He has previously worked and collaborated as applied cryptography researcher in several laboratories (UAM, UPM and Columbia) and companies such as the Spanish National Cybersecurity Institute (INCIBE). He obtained a B.Sc. degree in computer science from UAM in 2007, M.Sc. in Information Technologies from UPM in 2010 and Ph.D. in Computer Science from UAM in 2015. His research activities and interests include applied cryptography, privacy and anonymity, security analysis of communication protocols, distributed systems and trust decentralization.
