Cyberattack against Benalmádena City Hall

The City Council of Benalmádena has issued a statement through the social network X informing of a cyberattack that for the moment only affects the appointment system, although not all details have been clarified and the teams are still working.

The incident appears when the SOC National Network of which it is part, detects a possible unauthorized access, after which the CCN-CERT alerts the City Council and this activates the crisis cabinet of technicians and external resources to investigate the data.

The action procedure consisted of activating the established security protocols, through the Department of New Technologies, to review and apply the pertinent preventive measures and, in this way, secure the data and services of the citizens.
