Cyberattack against the Grand Palais Rmn

During the night of August 3 to 4 and in the context of the Olympic Games, the response and technical teams of the Grand Palais Réunion des musées nationaux (Rmn), the institution in charge of managing several museums and cultural sites in France, were mobilized to deal with a ransomware cyberattack that compromised the computer system that centralizes the financial data of the brands located in forty museums in France.

The Grand Palais Rmn has brought the incident to the attention of the competent agencies (Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL) and the National Cybersecurity Agency (ANSSI)), even though no data leakage has been detected.

So far, the Grand Palais Rmn assures that it has not suffered any loss in the services it provides, and that it is operating normally, with all services operational and open to the public.
