Microsoft reports cybersecurity incident

Microsoft has published an official post in response to the news related to the alleged cyberattack perpetrated by the LAPSUS$ ransomware group, which would have resulted in the obtaining of the source code of services such as Bing or Cortana.

In this post, Microsoft discusses the modus operandi of DEV-0537 (Microsoft's name for the LAPSUS$ group) and clarifies that only one of its accounts had been compromised, granting limited access. It further states that its response team reacted quickly to resolve the issues.
