Xiaomi TVs left without HDMI by Atresplayer application

Since November 26th and after an update of the A3player application, some Xiaomi TVs are having problems with their HDMI connections. Likewise, Xiaomi devices use the Android TV operating system and the most modern ones use Google TV, which uses the Live TV application for the reproduction of DTT channels. This application has also been affected and has not allowed users to access it.

As can be read on the Xiaomi forums, users report that by uninstalling the A3player app, HDMI connections can be restored. The issue has also affected Xiaomi's customer service, who have posted a voice-over that plays when calling their service to inform users and indicate that the issue should be resolved by a software update.
