Elena has more than 20 years’ experience in the field of IT auditing and information security, advising on information security to major IBEX35 companies. Elena has extensive experience in information security plans and risk analysis, in addition to being a pacesetter in critical infrastructure and business continuity.

She has collaborated with the CNPIC on the development of Minimum Elements and Good Practice Guides for the creation of Operator Security Plans (PSO) and Specific Protection Plans (PPE), in addition to the Strategic Plans for both the Financial and Energy Sectors.

Previously, she was the head of the Technological Risks department at PwC.

Her most relevant professional experience includes:

• Advising on compliance with the CIP Law at Banco de España, Repsol, CEPSA, Iberdrola and BBVA.
• Elaboration of Security Master Plans and Risk Analysis.
• Elaboration of Business Continuity Plans for companies in a range of sectors.
• Implementation and evaluation of security and controls in diverse environments.
• Deployment of security projects at an international level.
• Deployment of Security Technical Offices.
