Alias Robotics Adhesion as CNA under the leadership of INCIBE

One of the main missions of the Root CNAs is to create and invite new CNAs. As of today, September 14, 2021, the Spanish CNA formed by Alias Robotics will be performing its tasks as CNA under the leadership of INCIBE, with the aim of enhancing and facilitating its CVE assignment and publication operations.

It should be remembered that the term CVE (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures) is the international standard for identifying existing vulnerabilities in a given device. When a problem is discovered in such devices, it is analyzed whether the error has been discovered previously and, if not, an identifier is assigned to it.

In addition to ensuring the effective assignment of CVE identifiers, INCIBE´s functions as Root include coordination between different CNAs within its own scope. As of this date, in addition to INCIBE, MITRE, JPCERT/CC and CISA ICS organizations act as Root.
