Arrested a cybercriminal who broke the security of numerous entities

Agents of the Spanish National Police Corps have arrested a cybercriminal, just 16 years old, who, since the end of 2019, has violated the security of numerous public and private entities, both nationally and internationally.

The agents have detected that, in the middle of the health alert of COVID-19, they would have published in one of their social network profiles, the image of a health app dedicated to prescribing tests and prescriptions, as well as the personal data of several people, that they would have unlawfully accessed in one of their cyber attacks.

At the time of the arrest, the cybercriminal was caught carrying out an intrusion into the databases of a well-known courier company. This attack was frustrated thanks to police intervention.
