Brazilian National Treasury Secretariat faces a cyberattack

The National Treasury Secretariat, part of the Brazilian government Ministry of Economy, has reported a ransomware cyberattack on its IT infrastructure that is not known to have affected its buying and selling operations or other operations, according to the ongoing investigation.

The cyberattack was contained and disinfection actions are being taken.
