Cyberattack against Xixona Town Council

Xixona Town Council notified on its official website that it was the victim of a cyberattack that seriously affected its municipal services and finally forced the postponement of the ordinary monthly plenary session.

The incident was reported to the Spanish Guardia Civil, and alternative methods of contact were made available to citizens via telephone, social media and messaging apps.

Currently, the public body has reported the re-establishment of the electronic site and the entry register.
