DDoS attack on Activision Blizzard

Video game company Activision Blizzard has received a distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack directly on its Battle.net platform. This has reportedly resulted in some players experiencing high latency and disconnections in games such as Call of Duty, Overwatch, Starcraft, World of Warcraft, Diablo and Hearthstone.

Shortly afterwards, they announced that the DDoS attacks had ended and also announced a series of steps for users who continued to detect problems.
