Hundreds of millions stolen from Binance

Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange platform, has suffered a theft amounting to €585 million after a potential network exploit was detected through an irregular increase in activity.

Despite the incident, BNB Chain has assured its community that all funds are safe, as the BNB tokens were created entirely by the attacker. As such, these were not pre-existing tokens from community user wallets.
