Internacional operation against email fraud

The US Department of Justice has announced the arrest of 74 individuals accused of defrauding companies and individuals for an estimated value of 14 million dollars.

In the operation has participated security forces of many countries and it has finished with people arrest in USA, Nigeria, Canada, Mauritania and Poland.

According to the Department of Justice, the detainees used social engineering techniques such as the fraud of the CEO or the Nigerian prince's thymus with which they deceived the victims into making transfers to accounts controlled by their organization.
