KICKICO suffers a computer attack with losses of more than 70 million KickCoins
On July 26 at 9:04 (UTC), the KICKICO platform suffered a computer attack that caused the loss of more than 70 million KickCoins, approximately $7.7 million. The security problems have been confirmed by the platform itself. The computer attack was not detected until one of his customers complained to the support service of having lost $800,000 from his account.
The attack occurred by sending the KickCoins to 40 different addresses, where they were destroyed and transferred to another 40 false addresses controlled by the attacker. What was achieved was to leave no trace or variation in the volume of the platform, so that the attack could not be detected immediately. In its official statement, the company ensures that the situation is under control and, in addition, agrees to return all tokens to the owners of KickCoins, who can request it by email.
