Millions of dollars from Google and Facebook stolen through phishing techniques

The publication Fortune.com has revealed that computer companies Google and Facebook would have been victims of a multi-million dollar fraud carried out through phishing techniques. The complex plot, carried out by the Lithuanian citizen Evaldas Rimasauskas, was based on the impersonation an Asian company which provides hardware for Google and Facebook and allowed to Rimasauskas stoling more than one hundred million dollars. Although the US authorities had already filed criminal charges against Rimasauskas, the names of the affected companies had not been published until now.
