The group of cybercriminals operating the DopplePaymer ransomware announced its attack on the Digital Management Inc. (DMI) network, a company whose client list includes several Fortune 100 companies and many government agencies, including NASA.
The ransomware operators published information related to NASA's DMI human resources database on the Dark Web, which coincided with public records of employees on the professional social network LinkedIn.
They also published project plans, along with a list of 2,583 servers and workstations that cyber attackers say are part of DMI's internal platform..
