Okta reports cybersecurity incident

Okta has published an official post in response to the news related to the alleged cyberattack perpetrated by the LAPSUS$ ransomware group, which would have resulted in Sitel's "superuser" access, with the consequent leakage of information, and publication of screenshots on its Telegram to corroborate such an attack.

In this post, Okta clarifies that such access merely allows basic support, granting limited access, and in no case functions as an administrator. In addition, it points out that the service has not been compromised and its customers should not take corrective action.
