Possible spyware preinstalled on HP computers

The computer equipment manufacturer HP would have been affected by spyware due to a tool pre-installed in the equipment it manufactures.

This is the "HP Touchpoint Analytics Service" tool, which would be installed automatically on users' computers when carrying out a Windows Update update. This tool, in addition to slowing down the equipment notably by consuming resources, would collect information from the equipment and send it to the HP servers for analysis.
