Ransomware ciberattack on Ayesa

Ayesa, the Spanish multinational company that provides technological services to many companies and public administrations in several countries, was the victim of a ransomware-type cyber-attack, allegedly perpetrated by a group of cyber-attackers called Black Basta.

According to statements made by the company and reported by the media, this cybersecurity incident affected its technological infrastructure, reaching a limited number of corporate servers, but did not affect users' computers or personal devices.

Ayesa managed to block the attack directed at its internal equipment thanks to its detection systems and cybersecurity protocol and restored the environments thanks to the configured backup systems.
