Security incident affects different agencies

Several websites of various Spanish public administrations were affected by a series of coordinated cyberattacks. The body responsible for cybersecurity for public administrations was immediately informed to assess the impact of the cyberattacks.

The website of the Spanish National Statistics Institute (INE) was the first to be affected, and the body published a communiqué informing that services had been re-established, once the security protocols had been reviewed and the correct functioning of the systems had been verified.

Currently, all affected websites are up and running.
