Successful operation against one of the largest groups of online publishing of unauthorized content.

On 25 August, US authorities, in collaboration with Europol, have succeeded in shutting down 60 servers of Sparks, one of the largest online piracy groups, in North America, Europe and Asia, in addition to conducting other operations in 18 countries around the world and arresting 3 individuals belonging to the group.

It is one of the most prolific in recent years and has caused, according to Europol, losses of tens of millions of dollars to the US film, television and support industry, due to copyright infringement.
