Suspected Russian cyber attacks to British and Dutch institutions

Various sources report that the British Government has accused the Russian military espionage agency GRU of launching cyber attacks indiscriminately, to undermine national stability, against a series of political institutions, companies, media, banks and other objectives, between 2015 and 2017.

The Russian embassy in the United Kingdom has dismissed these statements as irresponsible, and assures that these accusations are not supported by any evidence, but are just one more element of the anti-Russian campaign of the British Government

Likewise, the Dutch Government has indicated that it prevented an attempt to hack the international chemical weapons control agency by Russian intelligence agents. Four people of Russian nationality were expelled from the country.
