Toshiba Tec Group subsidiaries hit by cyberattack

The Japanese company, Toshiba Tec Group, which provides technology solutions for retail, office, logistics and manufacturing, has confirmed that several of its European subsidiaries have been victims of a cyberattack perpetrated by DarkSide.

In response to the incident, the company disrupted operations of its networks and systems between Japan, Europe and European subsidiaries to contain the attack. However, it has been confirmed that some information may have been leaked. An investigation remains open to clarify what happened.
