Unauthorized access to EasyPark data
The number one parking application in Europe, EasyPark, suffered a cyber-attack in December that caused access to non-sensitive customer data.
Specifically, some of the data that could have been compromised are: name, phone number, postal address, email address and some digits of credit or debit cards. However, the company assures that none of the stolen data poses a risk for unauthorized transactions on the affected users' bank accounts.
The security team is implementing security and privacy measures to mitigate the adverse effects of the incident. In addition, they have already notified the relevant authorities of this data leakage. In any case, the company's services have continued to operate normally, despite the cyber-attack.
