The University Hospital from Torrejón is affected by a computer virus

Normal working of several information systems of University Hospital from Torrejón de Ardoz has been affected by a computer virus.

IT system broke down on January 17th last, moment when the contingency plan was activated and transferring all information was decided into paper format in order to be able to provide health care.

Official sources confirm that there has not been any hijack of information and the virus is not spread to other hospitals.

Currently, internal staff of Systems is working with the help of Dirección de Sistemas de la Consejería de Sanidad in order to restore IT service as soon as possible.
