Vestas, new victim of a ransomware attack

Vestas Wind Systems A/S, a company in the wind turbine industry, has reported being the victim of a ransomware that affected the internal IT infrastructure of several of its business units.

The incident, detected on 19 November, compromised certain company data, but not customer operations or the supply chain.

The forensic investigation is continuing while all systems are being restored.
