Linux basic hardening
Companies have been using Linux systems since their emergence for several reasons, either their free versions to reduce costs or for their technical features, which are getting better and better thanks to the great community surrounding Linux today.
The configuration of this system permits excellent control of the system and therefore, it is necessary to have thorough knowledge of it, as well as of the possible risks that can be generated with certain configurations.
The aim of this course is to provide the basics for securely setting up a Linux system. We will focus on Ubuntu Server version 18.04, because it is free and one of today’s most well-known and used distributions.
