What is #mujeresciber?

“#mujeresciber. Edition 3.0” is an event organised annually by the S.M.E. Instituto Nacional de Ciberseguridad de España, M.P., S.A. (INCIBE) in collaboration with the Organization of American States (OAS) and the Government of Canada, which will be held on 5 and 6 November 2019 at the City of León Auditorium.

Two editions have been held so far: the first in 2017 in the city of León (Spain), and the second in 2018 in Buenos Aires (Argentina).

Moreover, this year’s edition will also host the CyberWomen Challenge, competition, which will be held on 5 November 2019.

The main objectives of #mujeresciber are:

• To promote information exchange and knowledge development concerning gender and cybersecurity.
• To analyse the current situation and the question of gender both nationally and internationally, in relation to the cybersecurity sector.
• To standardise, promote, stimulate and encourage female talent in the cybersecurity industry.
• To discuss the main problems around gender-based violence in the digital sphere.
