Javier López is a University Professor and Director of the NICS Lab research group. His research activity focuses mainly on the areas of Network Security Services and Critical Infrastructure Protection, having directed more than fifty projects in these areas. He is also the author of more than two hundred research articles, and a member of the Editorial Boards, several international journals related to Cybersecurity.

Since 2006, she has worked as an auditor and consultant, configuring and managing multidisciplinary legal-technical teams in projects for public and private organizations in a large part of the Spanish geography and abroad:
